Tea Party

Use what talents you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best.

Another beautiful day. I'm trying really hard to enjoy it, but the stress of knowing I have an english exam on Thursday, and chemistry and drama exams on Saturday, is making that difficult. I just feel very anxious about everything, and it's not only because of exams; there are other things which I just don't want to talk about.

Random: there's a stange cat walking along the outside of the fence, which I've never seen before. He (or she) looks like Patches, except more black. Maybe they're getting together to have a kitty tea-party!

Of course, there is the anxiety about having decided my concentrations, having renewed doubts, redeciding the concentrations, having more doubts, and ending up with a million options. Follow your heart, they say. Well, "they" have obviously never met me. Many people find one passion, and they can focus on that; however, I have at least four that I could follow into a career. I'm so jealous of people that know what they're doing. Maybe going on the Italy vacation will help, though I doubt it. It will probably make me more confused by renewing my art obsession. That, and there's the question of actual talent.

Well, there's nothing really new. I didn't go anywhere yesterday, just sat around trying to study and drinking too much tea. Who am I kidding? Too much tea...pah! Not possible.

There is now an abundance of morning doves in the yard, but still only two to four black birds.

Tea Quote of the Day:

Tea does our fancy aid,

Repress those vapours which the head invade

And keeps that palace of the soul serene.

~Edmund Waller, "Of Tea"

Tea of the Day:

Celestial Seasonings Perfectly Pear White Tea

Long ago in China, white tea was a rarity reserved for royalty. We celebrate
its unique flavour with the lusciously mellow sweetness of Perfectly
Pear White Tea.
Natural pear and vanilla flavours perfectly enhance
the white tea's soft, flowery tones. Find a favourite place to enjoy
Perfectly Pear White Tea, hot or iced, and refine the moment especially for
you.

From me: I love this tea! It's perfect on its own, and the smell itself is enough to have any tea lover hooked. Click the title for a link to the website.

And did you know that white tea is one of the healthiest teas?http://www.betternutrition.com/document/466
