Tea Biscuits, Oh My!

I haven't posted in a while, so I thought I'd make a quick post!

I'm moving in a few days to a condo with my sister, which will be crazy, hectic, and exhausting. They haven't even painted my bathroom yet... it's just dry-wall. If they would just take their time in the first place to do it right, they wouldn't even need to re-do anything. And I have way to many books to move, they're going to fill up three bookcases, maybe more, which makes me happy (though I can't imagine the mover's will be to pleased).

It's gorgeous here. We have been having pretty rainy weather here this summer, and it's been worse lately. It rained so hard today, quite sparadically but nonetheless. There was even hail for a few minutes. As much as I love rain, it's unfortunate for the sheepdogs who are here competing in their trials. I've been watching them on tv and was planning on going into town today to see them (while sitting in the cafe across the street, of course) but it started to storm. But they battled on, the poor things. Those are some passionate dogs.

And the highlight of the day was the masterful creation of some kick ass cookies. That's right, I made...tea cookies. Literally, Earl Grey Tea cookies. Two tablespoons of that good stuff ground right up in the batter. I must say, they are delectable. Take two of the yummiest things ever, smoosh them together, and what do you get? Some serious cookie pwnage my friend. Then I made some tea icing to top them off (which is awsome too, by the way...you should make some now and...go...ice things ;P)
Oh how wonderful it is to make cookies on a rainy day!

And then I watched some Coronation Street aka the best soap ever. Yay for real people and good acting. And then I watched So You Think You Can Dance!! And I was so nervous it was ridiculous. And stupid. But couldn't help it. This was my favourite season definately. The choreography this year has been stunning. The pas de deux (Will...omg. That is the definition of a dancer) Bleeding Love (I was screaming at the tv when he walked away) No Air (yay for my fav dancers!! I could have cried) and Mia's door routine (wow do I love that one) and the list goes on. And to further reinforce my screaming fan-girlness OMG JOSHUA WON!! Seriously...omg. I was sitting there preparing myself for the fact that he wasn't going to win, and then she said his name and I let out this completely involuntary scream. My favourite never wins, so this is a good first. He was just so amazing and talented and sweet and I wanted the best person to win, not necessarily the best dancer, and he totally was the best person. I was glad to see Katee win the top girl though, I absolutely hated Courtney...she seemed so fake for some reason.
Ok...aaaaaand scene.

You never read that, ok?

And tomorrow I'm going to the sheepdog trials in the park to see some awsome border collies and some terrified sheep and lots of fun stuff. It will be fun!
